Dear Friend of Festival Playhouse:

Thank you for your patronage!

We look forward to seeing you at our 61st season opener, Oscar Wilde's comedic classic The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Dr. Quincy Thomas. The show runs November 7-10 2024, in the Nelda K. Balch Playhouse, 129 Thompson St. on Kalamazoo College's campus.

Tickets for The Importance of Being Earnest will go on sale on September 1, 2024.

General Notes

Patrons are encouraged to reserve tickets online, rather than getting them at the door (CC Only at door). Please arrive at your scheduled time to insure efficiency at the box office.

To insure patrons' and our company members' safety, we continue to follow and update COVID protocols, and no longer require proof of vaccination for admittance. Wearing a mask is optional at this time.

Patrons arriving late may be seated only at the discretion of the House Manager, so please plan to arrive at the theatre at your chosen arrival time (selected when you reserve your tickets on line) which also helps to reduce congestion at the box office. The doors to the lobby will open at 6:45 and to the house for seating at 7:10, with a curtain time of 7:30pm sharp.

There is no food or beverage of any kind permitted in the space. COVID precautions are in place. If you are ill, we respectfully request you notify the Company Manager, Kirsten Sluyter, at 269-337-7333 and remain home that day.

Ticket Policy

If you are unable to use your tickets, kindly inform us as soon as you are able so we might offer them to others interested in attending. Email Interim Company Manager, Kirsten.Sluyter@kzoo.edu, and thank you for your consideration in advance.
